Yet Another Navigation Software Question...?

I searched comprehensively here, but cannot find the answer. Strange, I thought it would be a common question...

I'm planning to buy a new Standard Horizon CP300i Plotter, which uses C-Map charts.

I also want to install navigation software on the laptop that will use the same charts, in real time with a USB GPS. I understand the 'C-Map PC Planner' software is ONLY for planning - not supporting GPS.

Anyone know what software WILL do this?

Thanks

Software on board by digiboat uses C-Map charts and is very good, I have used it for many years. However if you want to use the C-Card charts you will have to get a card reader you used to be able to buy these on there own, but Jeppesen in their infinate wisdom have decided not to sell it without the PC planner. You may be able to get one on e bay.

Ah! Does this mean I won't be able to use the Chart Plotter charts on the laptop?

Seems I may have misunderstood Standard Horizon (or they misinformed me).
