Does anybody know why I can't get access to the YBW Site tide tables? I keep getting page error. Tried 4 times in the past hour and half.

I get an error as well -

Something like -
Line 9
Error:'Windowname' is null or not an object

Gobbeldegook to me, I'm afraid.

Pop-up blocker?

They appear fine this end but I accept that doesn't mean there isn't an issue.

This might be caused by pop-up killers on your machine (software) or browser. Have you tried turning these off?

If not can you please tell me

a) which section of the tides you are tring to access (14-day or via location windows) and which port?

b) what browser and operating system you are using?

Thanks
Kim

Re: Pop-up blocker?

Kim,

Well spotted !

I have McAfee Security Centre running which has Anti-virus, Firewall, Privacy Service and Spamkiller.

Turn off the privacy Service & tides works ok now.

(why didn't I think of that ??)

Re: Pop-up blocker?

Many Thanks for your help Kim. Switched "Off" the Pop Swatter and all is fine again.

However, I still have my original problem - finding sunrise sunset tables. I thought they were included with the tide tables. Nevermind.

Sunrise and sunset

Sorry, cannot help you there (other than by making the general depressing observation that the nights are closing in). We've never featured them and in fact have not been asked for them before now -- interesting request and one that will get added to the well-thumbed notebook.
