Bit odd? Thought that was public? Is not the Lounge the only sign in Forum?

Mystery solved. Because I haven’t been posting regularly on other forums my access to for sale has been cancelled (as have all my for sale posts and pm). I have to sit on the naughty step until I’ve racked up,some more posts. There you go….

Interesting. Forum is not visible to me either. I used to be a regular user from when the forum began but then stopped sailing for years. I had to rejoin as a beginner since I lost email and usernames and so on so I look like a complete newbie. A lot of old users seem to have vanished who were either very helpful or funny.

Some of the miscreants got taken out too but they took the good ones with them as hostages.

When I first joined I used to be able to see the For Sale forum, but haven't been able to see it for the last few months - which is unfortunate - as I am in the process of buying a boat and need to kit it out - so access would be helpful.

I wonder what the rationale is to make the For Sale forum restricted? As surely a buyer doesn't need to prove their worth via the number of postings - they just need to be able to pay for something - and as a seller, wouldn't they be less happy with the significantly reduced audience?
