Anyone fancy a run ashore Yarmouth next Saturday (6/11)? Tides look good, SimonJK has promised us fabulous weather and SWMBO is away for the weekend (handbrake off!). I just have to try the port in RSYC.

I genuinely hate saying no to crew requests and so have a bit of a back-log to deal with. I have given them the first refusals for this weekend, waiting for confirmations. If we end up with a spare bunk I'll certainly contact you, if that's ok?

One reason I hate to turn people down is remembering arriving on the S Coast aged 16 and not knowing anyone with a boat. Just stood at the pontoons watching all the lucky folk going out and puzzling over the many unused boats. Eventually some kind soul took pity on me. That's when the cross-dressing started (joke!).

That's fine - thanks. If I was to take up your last hint [joke], then I think I would only be offered cre positions by blind, desperate, recently discharged lifers - you're not one of those are you? /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
