Yesterday on the way over to Cowes we spotted three pretty Yarmouth 23 gaff-rigged yachts. My companion said they were pretty expensive for their size but looked the part.

What surprised me was they were long-keeled, whereas I'd expected them to be lifting Crabber, Shrimper types.
Does anyone here on the forum own one of these beauties?

As ersatz gaffers go, they are quite nice, but they still don't quite capture that old gaffer look very well, I also think they are under canvassed.

No doubt out and about from the Gaffer meet at Yarmouth last weekend.

Boats were designed by Freeman and Wyatt (think Fishers), originally built in Yarmouth, but now built in Sri Lanka.
