Yards in Poros

Thinking of wintering in Poros this year.
I understand that there are two yards, Vikos Marine and ????.
I'd appreciate any information - contact nos, restrictions on work, preference, facilities.
Vikos Marine has a website but no photos and an email reply was ambivalent on whether I can work on my own boat or employ anyone from outside the yard.

We wintered a couple of times in 2002/4.
Try yannis at Poros Marine - plaka tf (0)2980 23330/23146
On the Galaxidi side
It was a small scruffy yard and only 2euro taxi ride into galaxidi

I am afraid Yarnnis is dead . His Indian helper has taken over but i do not know to what extent. Both yard are very full so book early

yes sadly Ioannis went to God, as they say last year.

Takis his life-long friend and partner now runs the yard with Ioannis's son Giorgos and Nikos.

Takis has given the yard a tidy up and all is well. there is now a solar and mains power shower.
both front and back yards are very full this winter.

we have been using this yard for ten years now: its very affordable, convenient to Galatas and Poros and only 2.5 hours driving time from Athens airport on the new road. having a beach and taverna nearby is a real treat.

We have tried to get through on those numbers but it is not in use. Anybody have an uptodate contact for the yard?

Well I do not.
However, looking at the numbers offered above, a digit seemed to be missing(9 digits instead of 10).
So, Googling on Poros, (then poros.gr) I noted all numbers started by 22 and not just 2.

Humm, now, the first number looks not in use and the second one will get you to an old lady (private home??)
