Yard storage and moorings Southend Area

is that seperate from brandy hole yacht club ?

Yes it is a seperate business, the pontoon belongs to the yacht station if you know it. If you were to come in via the river to the pontoon you can walk off of the pontoon and turn left and it brings you straight into the yard.If you were to come by road go through Hullbridge village and turn right in to Pooles lane and just follow it straight through the caravan park and your there. cheers , i do know the area well , i used to belong to the URYC next door to brandy hole many moons ago but moved to BYH when i bought the Etap 26 and wanted water all the time .

i just never payed much attention to Brandy hole other than to use the bar :)

certainly a consideration tho .

Leigh Marina is not that well run and quite disorganised. Trying to organise anything there is a nightmare.

Last year I used Smallgains Marina over on Canvey Island near to the island sailing club. Had a 22' bilge keel and storage was about £68 a month and crane in and out was cheaper than other places. It has water and electric. The guy who works in the yard is very organised. It can get a little muddy when wet but i carpeted around the ground by the boat.
