YAPP production line - view from the factory floor

Just when I read this and thought "That's exactly what I want" you stop production!

If they haven't been sold, may I order two please? (One for each berth).

Production is never stopped. However, the circuit boards come in batches of 10 when there is sufficient interest, and the other components when I can make up an order of value at least £20. I think I have 1 circuit board left from the last lot, but not 2. Anyone else want one? It takes 3 weeks to get the boards delivered, so will be a few weeks before I have them again.

I can wait especially for something that sounds superb. I was anticipating having to fork out around £400 for a Raymarine Tridata (which isn't as useful!).

Come on the rest of you!:D

Cost is my build and postage cost, about £14, plus any donation you'd like to make to my new oscilloscope fund. The new soldering iron and new multimeter funds have now both reached their targets and are complete. :)

What 'scope do you fancy? In my days, (very early days, as a main frame designer ( - anyone remember Ferranti?)) my Tektronix lived on a substantial wheeled trolley and took two people to lift it!

Picoscope or similar so that it is not too bulky to take boating so I can continue to YAPP while afloat, dual channel, 100MHz will do nicely thank you. :)

They arrived this morning and I must say look extremely professional.

I will have no problem housing them as they will sit in a black plastic panel on the above berth cupboard end. Now to fire them up.

'Scope contribution on the way.

Thanks - brilliant!

My idea of not specifying a price as I'm not a commercial outfit and don't want to use the forum to make a profit is not working out as I expected. People are offering far more than I'm happy to accept! So here are my new guidelines - minimum price is the cost, i.e. £13.54, maximum is a tenner more than than, £23.54. Any amount between that is fine by me, particularly so if it's a super-prime or smooth number, or some other mathematically pleasing value.

Please consider the excess as our contribution to your non-profit-making R&D Department.

Mine too.
Sterling effort!

Looks good value, but my YAPPing efforts are not going to allow me to afford one. A significant number of recipients that I have sent YAPPs to have never made any contribution at all leaving me out of pocket. In total I have broken even, but only just.

That is outrageous, you should have built in a time delayed erase algorithm.

Angus, I want one if you are going to continue production.

It needs sending to Switzerland but I can post a cheque on my UK bank ... or alternatively, I have a PayPal account - whichever is more convenient for you.

Must admit I am amazed that such an altruistic effort on your part can result in anyone not immediately contributing - shame on them.
