Yanmar SD 20 Saildrive Propeller Shaft LO Seals

After checking my saildrive lub oil level at the weekend, I noticed that the oil was very slightly emulsified, which I presume means that that propeller shaft oil seal is leaking.

Has anyone changed the propeller shaft lub oil seal on a Yanmar SD20 saildrive and, if so, how easy is it?

Also, is there just one oil seal or two fitted to this type of saildrive?

Any help / advice would be very much appreciated!

Before getting really worried I would check the drain screw at the bottom of the leg (starboard) side to make sure the O ring seal there is okay.

Many owners screw it back after changing the oil with the original O ring.

Yes, I did that and the oil emulsified. Make sure you fit a new washer after draining the oil.
