Am I right in thinking the YSE8 and YSE12 are virtually identical except for capacity and power generated? I find the YSE8 in Wai-Tapu just can't make any worthwhile progress against chop and headwind and want to get something more powerful without having to modify things too much. Could I still use the same gearbox and prop, do you think? All info gratefully received.

Check prop caculations first, a new prop's a lot cheaper than a new engine.
Just a thought!
