The warning buzzer on my Yanmar type B engine control panel has stopped sounding when the key is turned to start the engine. It also does not sound when the engine is stopped using the stop button before turning the key off. The boat, engine (Yanmar 3JH4-E) and control panel (type B) are all just over two years old. The batteries etc are all in good condition and fully charged. Ive removed the control panel and checked that all connections are good. I also noticed recently that the hour meter intermittently was unreadable with the LCD display flashing parts of digits.
I have note previous threads regarding the hour meter display and the cold etc but cannot find anything regarding the warning buzzer.
Do I need to buy a complete new control panel or can you purchase the small board on which he buzzer is mounted behind the panel.
Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.
