Yanmar 4LH-HTE impeller change

On above engine, friend has asked me to change the impeller for him.

Question:
When I order an impeller, should there be a gasket / o-ring, just like you get with the Volvos? (KAD)

Is access as easy as the Volvo KAD configuration (outward facing face-place, easy access at front of engine) - The engine is in a big steel dutch cruiser so plenty of access around the engine.

Finally, best place to source online?

Note sure if it makes a difference, but it's a shaft driven boat.

I have the 4lha-stp, pretty sure they had to remove the pump to get to the impeller.

Impellors on Yanmars are a PITA!! They fit the pump with the housing facing aft and often up near the engine mount, if you have good access from the side then it will be easier and it will have either a gasket or O ring depending on engine model.

Might get the owner to do it himself so

Should I expect the gasket and O-Ring to come with the impeller? He currently has a new impeller with neither gasket / o-ring so i'm going to order him a new one.

Depends what boat it's in , the hardy 25 is a pain the most recent one it did was In a Nimbus , the engine box had a door I could enter if I laid down in the aft cabin , same for the belt . Stupid design where the pump is installed, another industrial engine marinised with little thought.

There's LOADS of engine access (it's a big steel Dutch cruiser) space, just wondering if it's as simple as changing as a KAD.

Some videos are showing a rearward faceplate, other's look forward.... hard to tell.
