... I am sailing in a fairly remote part of Sweden and have an intermittent problem. Any ideas?
First noticed an issue when I came to leave a quay and the bow thruster just clicked. Inconvenient but ok.
Then when motoring out of the rocks, noticed the engine control panel had shut down, no lights, no tachometer.
But engine seemed to be running fine.
Next destination, went to drop bow anchor on leccy windlass. No joy.
At next stop over, everything working so back to wilderness - leccy panel not working so couldn’t use electric stop button.
Whilst pondering this panel came back to life, and I stopped it on the button.
First thing in the morning, engine started, panel lit and tachometer good, bow thruster worked, windlass ok. Then panel went dead and thruster and windlass are no more.
1st question: is this my manual engine stop - pic 1
2nd question as you can see in pic2 no sign of any corrosion in control panel or immediate connectors, likewise at engine,so any other ideas what to try?
