Yanmar 4JH4 which engine??

Hi,
I have just purchased a Beneteau Antares 6 fitted with a Yanmar 4 JH4 HTE 110 hp engine. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this engine good or bad and also which engine it is derived from. I know the same capacity (different power) engine is used in Yanmar built compact tractors (also badged John Deere) but wondered if the engine maybe started life as a Toyota diesel or something??? Thanks in advance for any information.

JH Range all 100% Yanmar though and through.

Rock solid engine with zero issues.

only problem I had recently was with the start relay, they fit an earth return relay on a plate that has rubber anti vibration bushes and the only earth contact is through the braided oil pressure pipe to the sender that is also mounted on the same metal plate, this has been known as a common failure, otherwise one of Yanmars finest.
