Yanmar - 3JH4E one engine hydrolic drive 2 props

Hi all, Im looking at purchasing and old Cherokee multi hull (1976) and she has a Yanmar - 3JH4E diesel installed in 2008. One engine hydrological driving 2 props. Does any one have experience with this type of set up? Also what would the engine have cost new? Any comments much appreciated

My 10.2m cat has just such an installation, in my case a 36hp Lombardini diesel with twin hydraulic-driven shaft drives and folding props. This set-up works perfectly for my liking, I can control the props from both steering positions though the engine speed only from the starboard one.
One tip: The hydraulic system has its own hydraulic fluid reservoir so watch the fluid level regulary otherwise your propulsion will go as happened to me when wanting to dock once!
Is the hydraulic installation also from 2008? Asking as the hydraulic hoses are high pressure hoses which need to be in good condition.
