Hiya all
Looking to replace the rings in my 3gmd engine
Can anyone tell me if this has liners ?
And the piston size or a place to source rings other than yanmar
I'm in the UK ( canvey island smallgains Essex )

Check an on line part list and I think you will find the answer is yes and that they are part number 121450-01100
 
Been trying to find that for months !!!

The bore size should be in the specification in the manual. To find the other dimensions you will need to strip it down and measure, or buy an OE ringset and measure.

I have often successfuly fitted oversize rings -+10 or +20 thou-into worn bores. The ring gaps, of course, must be carefully and squarely filed to the correct gap.

One engine so treated, about twenty years ago,a Vee Twin BSA motorcycle from 1936, is still in regular use today. It has not been stripped since.

This dodge is best used with cast iron rings-chromed rings dont bed in very well.
 
Cool , got the engine out the hole today now it's in the front room of our NB just to get it on the deck the jetty and to me van for striping down lol
