Yanmar 1GM10 Air filter cover

The cover for the intake silencer (air cleaner) has "died" on my engine. The two snap clips have succumbed to rust and are a) spot welded to the cover and b) not listed in the spares from Marine Power. Similarly I cannot find the cover itself listed in their on-line parts pages. Any ideas?

You'll probably find you can't buy a cover on its own, so you'd need to buy a whole new filter for around £100. It's Yanmar part number 128171-12500 - like pvb said, it's an assembly including the part that bolts onto the head, as far as I can tell. About £135 (or $90 in the US) from what I can tell.

Those new clips are bit big, but something about half the size would be a great solution, I'll have a look now I know the right term to google.

I realise the Yanmar part will be a stupid price. Sadly Marine Power's website doesn't recognise the part number so I"ll have to wait 'til Monday and telephone them.
