Yamaha 5hp Aircooled query

I'm on the lookout for a 4/5HP long shaft outboard. I've found a Yam 5hp fairly locally which is air-cooled.

I've not had any experience of aircooled & wondered what the general opinion is, what to look out for and whether they are any more or less reliable that water cooled.

Great engine - but they are getting very old now - be aware of that. The spec is for a fuel oil mix of 100:1, but I wouldn't run them that lean.

I'm on the Sunshine Coast, Holland-on-Sea, a few mile south of Harwich. Your little Suzy looks about right for what I want, & hopefully reliable:encouragement:. Timings are not good at the moment for me to get to you, (too many projects, not enough time) but if I can free up some time shortly I'll drop you a line.

No probs - when/if you're ready... I'll pop her on eBay about mid-March if I don't get any takers here.
