Help please . Was recently given an old seagull 2 sailing dingy and yamaha 3.5 ac outboard that had not been used for 10 plus years . Have stripped carb and thoroughly cleaned . Engine starts first pull every time ticks over lovely and will rev toquarter throttle under load above thatstruggles and dies . I have noticed that there's no air filter of any kind in the small black chamber and if I partly cover the small round hole with my thumb I can get get it to rev fine , as soon as thumb taken away revs up higher then dies , wich says to me to lean and lack of air filter would cause . New plug etc good spark etc any help would be appreciated ... also could do with new rubber fender trim that runs around the boat if anyone knows where icould get one. Thank u
