I realise it's a long way off, but Caley Marina (inverness) engineering dept seem to have good access to spares. I got a collection of gaskets pretty promptly by post. They are also fairly knowledgeable about small Yam . 2 strokes.. Worth a call? or email?

I've just, a couple of days ago, had a bunch of spares for a Yamaha 2B from Craig Neilson of Lymington based BHG Marine Ltd, 01590 613600, or craigneilson@bhg-marine.co.uk. This was based on advice from a previous thread here. They seem to cover everything, prices are good, order delivered within three days.

P.S. I expect you've got this side of things sorted, but if you need a workshop manual one can be bought and downloaded from http://www.rmanual.com/part_1523/rm. There is a set of exploded diagrams of the engine with parts numbers at http://www.yamahaoutboards.com/owner-resources/overview (click 'Care & Maintenance', 'Parts Lookup').
