Yamaha 2.5 Four Stroke Engine Cowl

I have bought a Yamaha 2.5 Four Stroke Outboard.
The engine cowl has been badly damaged and repaired, Cracks being glued together. (looks like it went off to the Frankenstein factory)
I believe that the price of a new cowl is very expensive
Obviously I am searching for a second hand one.
Is the Yamaha 2.5 Four Stroke similar to other engines, i.e Are any Mariner, Tohatsu, etc engines similar as I could widen my search ?

Maybe a company that repair plastic bumpers could do an acceptable repair at a reasonable price?
