Just a short note to express my thanks to Yakbitz. I recently purchased an NMEA to Wifi converter from yakbitz (www.yakbitz.com) to broadcast all my navigation data to my ipad apps. Yakbitz are based in Australia and we ran in to some issues with customs and PO handling charges (which have all now been sorted out for future purchases). Despite all the charges levied Yakbitz absorbed all the costs ( I suspect making the overall transaction not profitable to them). I am a very happy bunny and hope that the device works as well as their customer service (being installed on the boat end May 2018).

No connection to the company but a pleasure to do business with.

+1 i have been using one of their nmea to wifi devices since last year. Works perfectly, very good price and, yes, excellent service. I used their device to get my AIS data onto my Tablet/Marine Navigator app.
