Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help? I have recently just finished some contract work and am now looking for a new job.

I am a Yachtmaster Power Instructor so am either looking for work teaching or skippering a boat. I am 34 but am very experienced, I spent years teaching for a search and rescue organisation.

I am finding that the recession has hit many parts of the maritime sector and am struggling to get good leads for jobs.

Would anyone have any tips for me as to where I should be looking to source any available positions? I have searched the internet but most positions are for masters, not small boat skippers.

I would very much appreciate any pointers.

Many Thanks
