Yachtmaster coastal sea time evidence

Just put together a table of passage, from/ to, distance in nm, month completed. It's quite instructive. Lump together estimated distances covered in small coastal stuff, say each quarter. That's what I did for my YM (Offshore) which I took on my own boat.

As others have said, it's the overall picture that the examiner wants and he or she will ask you about the passages and will quickly get the picture of whether you really did them, whether you really were skippering and what your experience really is.

As you have your own yacht, why are you using an RYA training outfit to give you mile-building experience? Experience is best gained when you're making the calls IMHO.

Get some mates to do a couple of cross-channel weekends.
Maybe split the 'skippering'.
The week 'prep' was good fun and good value though.
