Imminent start of round the world yacht race begining In Alicante and not a mention,just football.This is because SpainsArmarda was trounced good and proper by thebrits and the Dutch who although Catholics had little Inter Ernest in the Spanish king plus there was a good gale……….so jus goes to show after all the Millenium that has past thereis still no interest in yachting?

The Royal Ocean Race Club Atlantic Race started here in Lanzarote just over an hour ago. Lots of spectators and I will see them from my balcony in about 45 minutes.

Just seen the big trimaran Masarati gybe just off Marina Rubicon. Stood on the balcony with binoculars can attract.....interest.
