Yacht Wrecked In Storm

A British yacht has been wrecked in a storm on the Portugese coast on saturday morning. Of the three crew on board two are missing presumed drowned and one taken to hospital with hypothermia. The missing have been named as Chris Hull,53, of Thorpe Bay Yacht Club, Glen Foster,23 and the surviver is Chris Brook,24.
Both of these young men I know personally and my heart goes out to all the families affected by this tagedy.

It is always sad to read of a lost boat and lost sailors. Even more so when it is close to home. Commisserations to you and to their families. Grim.

Abit more info from Cruisers forum. Whatever the reason is it still sad.

Thanks Roger. You may even remember Glen Foster,s father John Foster from Thames Estuary Yacht Club. I am sure he is devastated as we all are.
