Clearly the lock down in France is necessary, if drastic action is a little late. However for those of us with yachts there and living in the country, we, or those authorised by us, are not permitted to visit for essential maintenance, checking of mooring security, etc and some of this work is obligatory for both the insurance and marina regulations. One wonders if we could request a derogation, but this would be best made by an official body. Any comments?

In St.Cyprien our capitainerie is shut except for phone and e-mails, and same with the yard and boat-lifts etc so even if you could get the boat ashore you couldn't work on it - academic anyway because you're not allowed to drive there - we're an hour away. Also had an e-mail edict this morning from the powers that be prohibiting all use of pleasure boats - this to save possibility of SNSM having to rescue anyone who might possibly be infected - fair enough I suppose.

From what I understand you don’t request a derogation, you just fill in the form and as long as you satisfy the criteria It will be valid.
if you don’t have a printer you can apparently write out the details on plain paper.
see
Attestation de déplacement dérogatoire et justificatif de déplacement professionnel

if you google you can do a “ translate this page”

Just be responsible accept the situation and stop trying to get round things that are put in place to keep people safe and save lives.

If you adopted your boat you could check the box to claim your journey was necessary to look after dependant children.

Not sure what else could apply...

Don't jump to conclusions. I am being responsible. I started self isolation while many people were still shaking hands and going to restaurants. I would drive carefully to the boat alone, check the mooring lines, auto bilge pumps and seacocks, ensure everything else is switched off except the auto bilge pumps and drive back directly into the apartment's garage. I cannot see how I would risk anybody's life. This cannot be over in two weeks. More likely two months at the very least.

Unfortunately there is nothing in the dérogatoire about visiting your own boat. It would cover a marine professional visiting your boat but nothing else. But I’m prepared to be proven wrong (indeed I wish I was wrong)

Blanket rules for entire populations seldom cater to the individuals needs and desires

Here is an insight...….. Doing the things you suggest could lead to you haveing an accident or hurting yourself. If so you might need the emergency services or indeed medical treatment. If this were the case you would be putting added pressure on these services. They don't need that at this time.
Simply put Boating is a pleasure activity and is in no way necessary or important at the moment..... If you think it is have a recalibrate of your thinking might I suggest
