Didn't want to take things this far over a canopy cover, but no responce so far, maybe PMT, or the menopause. But It's no excuse. Two requests from you misserable lot.
Name of Yacht Havens MD. I've got the address. And if need be. Suitable other accomodation in the west countrie is sought. I like it where I am But. Ho Hum. I'm trying to get a WOMAN to apologies!! Yes I know it's easier to get a cammel through the eye of a needle. But thats it when the cooky crumbles. All over a riped cover. But being told I'm a dick head!!! By any woman or man, PMT or none!! Is unacceptable

No one can force me to come here-----------

When are you next down there Haydn? Why not wait till then and then try the advice someone gave yesterday I think to just take her round to the boat and have a quiet one to one chat and see if you can sort it out amicably. Without anyone seeming to lose face etc. After all, all you really want is an apology and a "thanks for bringing it to our attention" sort of comment. A couple of sorry's probably wouldn't go amiss too.

If you start the "I'm telling your MD" rant and rave bit too early, you might well win, but you'll then end up having an unhappy relationship with them and probably feel uncomfortable about staying there and you don't really want to move do you? Also they'll not do you any favours in future. Like letting you off paying the extra footage that they spotted last year for your mooring?

Why not just wait till you get down there and then try the friendly chat tack?

After all what have you got to lose? You can still have a rant and rave later.

Or am I being too nice?

Now I know I am new to this forum thingy. But I have been reading from afar, so to speak. The letter that you wrote to them, on the post lower down, did seem rather strong for a first reply. Or have I missed somthing along the way.

I, in my line of work have to put up with some rather obnoxious people and the response that I give is not normally the one I would like to give. I think from the letter you received from the marina is a standard "were not going to talk unless you are civil" sort of reply.

In any event, I do hope that you come to a satisfactory conclusion after all this tooing and froing.
