Yacht Design Course

I am considering applying to the yacht design course at the Landing School, Maine USA after i have completed my Mechanical Design Engineering degree. Does anyone have any views or experience of this course (or school)? Likewise if there are any proffessional yacht designers / Naval Architects reading this, could they give me their recomendations for what i should do to get into this career path.
