Hi.

I will be looking to move a yacht cradle from Titchmarsh to SYH. (Max length when broken down is 4M) Looking at self help options, flatbed rental, using a trailer, but also commercial options. anyone moved a cradle , who/how did you get it done? TIA

I moved a Jacob’s cradle from Mistley to SYH using a car transporter trailer. Quite straightforward and not too heavy as the cradle broke down for transport. The cradle was delivered by the Jacob’s team using a flatbed Ford transit.

Ifor Williams Trailer Service and Repairs - Agroco Trailers - Suffolk

In May I hired a three wheel flatbed for about 50 quid from the above. Needed the yard to lift on and you can get a lift the other end at SYH. All very straightforward so long as you take your time and drive carefully.

Struggled to find anyone to.do.it for me, and got messed around a bit hence the diy approach.

Could one be over-thinking it?
This is a Jacob's Trailer in transit.
