Yacht Brokers

Yes, I bought my current boat from them a couple of years ago. Don was a pleasure to deal with, very nice chap and even let me drive his boat with flappy things on. Although I see from your link the Weymouth branch may be owned by someone else.

I also purchased my boat from Don at Seekers October 2012 and agree he was a real pleasure to deal with and was well respected in the area understand he took over the brokerage from a dodgy character though. Google the owners name in link above for story..
I believe Don still owns the Business and in my opinion is as straight and honest as they come.
hope this helps

daka my boat is in Weymouth and seakers office is right next to the marina office I don't know the chap but have spoken to him on a couple of occasions and he is very helpful and polite, when you say does anyone know anything about seakers in Weymouth what is it you want to know about them?????

they seem to sell boats up to about 120k ish from looking in their window all the bigger boats seem to be sold by J D Yachts from what I can gather

.

Thanks for your responses.

In fairness to Don, ( the new owner) I do not wish to air my concerns, may I suggest someone pops in to suggest to him that his details as owner of the company are declared on his website.

And also that he amends this web page
http://www.boatrader.co.uk/microsite.asp?brokercode=SEAK03

which indicates someone called James owns and runs the company.

That page is completely incorrect and out of date. Don should try to get it amended. There are no other Seakers offices any more, the Weymouth office is the only one.
