Just applied a coat of XM red antifouling and it is not red, in fact its a sort of dirty reddy browny mess. Not impressed, also had poor coverage. Not a bargain that is for sure. Had similar problem with Seago red antifouling which was also brown.

Dont buy it unless you are happy with a brown bottom.

I find the eventual colour is less important than the job the paint does.
Tell us in a few months if it doesn't work, and accept that fancy underwater colours probably come with a price.

I can tell you it ai'nt much good.I used it on my boat the last time & I had to scrub off after just a few months, that made it twice in the season.
I decided that if I had to do that I might just as well not have any anti-foul & save myself thirty quid.I have since realised that all the hassle of applying the stuff is a reason in itself not to bother :)

We found similar with the blue. Pigment levels seemed to be as low as possible with result that coverage was poor. Even after two-three coats it didn't look good. Immersion sorted it out though and after a few days it looked fine. A/F performance was not much different from all the others we have tried.
