I have put one here. It's a pdf file and you will need Adobe Reader installed to open it. It's about two thirds of a meg so will take a couple of minutes to download on dial up.

Hi,

Happy to send a paper copy.

Something that is not in the manual and should note down, the reset procedure - believe me you may need to do this if not functioning correctly:

To reset: Hold the K.Lock/Lamp Button & Turn Unit On.

Hope that helps.

RM.

thanks very much Richard,

another post sent it as a file so saves you printing it & sending so thanks again for the kind offer. the other bit of information you said about is handy to know & i will make a note of that on the back of the manual.

do you find them a good radio, i occationaly go out for the odd fishing trip but mostly watching birds along cliffs. i have flares & all the gear, bit of an over kill really but i would prefure to be prepaired than wish i had when things go wrong.

all the best & thanks again

;-)

Hi,

I had my radio since 1999 and to be honest very rarely use it but realiable. I only have it onboard ready for an emegency, all other times I find it a damn sight easier to just use my mobile phone. I leave the unit on charge from my 12v supply while on the boat and have a second standby battery pack just in case.

when you leave it on charge is it still turned on. i plugged in my charger & although it charges you cannot use the radio at the same time. i find this odd as my mobile phone will work normal when on charge.
i know what you mean by the mobile is easier, in the recent snow we had all networks were chock full & i was over an hour trying to ring my son & wife who was the same time trying to ring me. i know this was a one off & my mobile will be used as yours. radio is a handy thing to have just in case.

thanks RM
