Similar ( 90mph) for the solent. In fact winds in excess of 70mph on Thursday though Sunday

making up for the light winds forecast for the weekend just past perhaps.

It's a useless site when it outputs this sort of garbage you cannot have any confidence in it whatsoever.

I have just tried to look but the site is down. One problem with such completely automated forecasts is that nobody checks that it is working OK and giving sense. In this case it all seems like 8/3 pi R squared.

The only problem that I have had with Saildocs email, UGrib and zyGrib is that sometimes no forecast arrives. Over the past 10 or so years, mainly Saildocs, we have never had such nonsense as you guys are reporting.

The US GRIB and the Met Office charts look consistent enough to have some faith in them. It is better in the Rias.
