Nice pic - do you have it high res?

If yes, please e-mail it to me.

Thanks

More proof (if more proof was required) of Guapa's First Axiom: boats are best kept afloat in sufficient water at all times. :p

Hope no lasting (expensive) damage was sustained.

No damage at all.

Unlike earlier that day when I whacked a submarine in Paglesham Reach, which took a chunk out of one of the Kiwiprop blades. £50 for a new blade. Harumph.

I have left it for now, will sort that at the end of the season, after Father Christmas has brought me a propeller blade shaped present.

 I don't think they wanted you to say that :D

Not thinking of going there ;);)

Hey ho, it's something of a habit of mine. Saying things I shouldn't say when I would be better off keeping my trap shut. Too old to change now, so live with it.

:D:D

On the other hand, perhaps indicating I am a frequent visitor to the area, will have the desired effect of deterring others to follow suit.

I too often overnight at Wrabness. I constantly think it might be a normal word rather than a place name - "I was overcome by a strong sense of wrabness". But what would it mean?

Well if you are too often there, perhaps you ought to cut down a bit?

The last time I visited was in January, and we were planting a friend in the green cemetary near the beach. So "Wrabness" does have melancholy overtones for me.

I was wrabbed

You know how it is when you really fancy a pint but there's only wine on board, so pick up a mooring, row ashore, drag the dinghy up the beach, and walk half a mile uphill to the pub - to find it closed years ago and it's now a private house ?
That's wrabness. :(
