Yes, all of you who are off or have recently been off on a UK sailing holiday should just say 'thank you' to me.

This year we decided not to take our holiday on the boat, but instead to do a touring holiday by car to Italy. The consequences of us not being off sailing has undoubtedly resulted in the excellent weather you have all enjoyed.

Cant promise we wont be sailing next year so rain and gales will be the norm once more!

your weather jinx has excelled itself this year hasn't it..........

Galadriel,

sorry but I reckon I'm the one to thank, as I decided to keep my boat out of the water all this season; I knew it would result in the first decent weather for years !

No thanks from this quarter. Dinghy sailing inland has been very very unexciting during the fine weather. Had to do some work on the MoBo instead.

Ah - this possibly answers something I had been wondering. I noticed a boat called Galadriel having a mishap in Osbourne Bay on Sunday, and wondered if it was you. Guess not.

I will thank you if the weather for the next 2 1/2weeks holds, once our UK sailing holiday is finished :)

Yep, can I request good sailing weather for next week and half of the following one, please.

Galadriel emigration or Seajet sun-dance, I don't care which :)

Pete

Thank *you*?? *I'm* the one with the boat out of the water for a refit for the first time in 3 years!

I apologise in advance for the abysmal weather we will undoubtedly experience in September...

May the sun shine out of your future postings and, thanks aside, perhaps let us know ( ooh, a month ahead) when Sir is considering returning to this sceptred isle?
