Would this work?

These new super slippery coatings sound good and indeed I believe someone is actually trialing one for boats now. The issue comes if it doesn't work, then the conventional stuff won't stick to it and you need to get it off. I would think carefully before you go painting all over the underside. Perhaps do a patch first to test for the season.

I put some International 2 component "slippery" stuff on my outdrive in 2005; I can't remember the name. Barnacles and weed loved it, it was a b****r of a job to get any primer/ antifoul to subsequently stick to it. I still get chunks of antifoul coming off. leaving a nice slippery surface where it was !
