You really need 2 kedges and the one here is well under spec for your boat.
Bearing in mind that most kedge-work is entirely manual you need something light enough to handle an aluminium Fortress is probably the way to go.
On a 31' lightweight boat I have a 5kg Delta and a 7kg Danforth. The former is a far better all-round anchor, good on nearly any bottom, self launching, and quick to reset.
The Danforth, on the other hand, is awkward to handle, is really only to be trusted in soft sand or mud.
