Wots appening with Sarfampton Boat Show then?

Still not heard anything official, and it's only 2 and a bit months away. I suspect the big boys, and the people who assemble the marina etc, are normally getting onsite around now and yet nothing. I can't see it happening, but why no official work to that effect?

Well, funny enough I was just thinking about the Show too!
Maybe just the desire to get out of Wales
I can't see it happening.
Not just the logistics etc but the accomadation aspect, social distancing etc etc
Like Leicester has just had 'lockdown' again
Maybe other places too?
The virus/pandemic is still an 'uknown' it many respects
What Boris is gonna do plus the Plonkers in Cardiff is anybodies guess!
It's a bit different than having a football match with no crowd
'Events' are still up in the air
Pubs may open and people might go bonkus
To Plan something like the Boat show must be a nightmare under normal circumstances
Right now and even in to September

Apparently they were going to release a statement today according to motor boat owner magazine but nothing released as yet.

The word from smaller exhibitors is that low footfall due to social distancing and lack of visitors due to concerns would not make it financially viable for them to attend.

I just assumed that when the Geneva Car Show closed for good that it would be the end of all exhibitions. So that’s good news. I wonder if I’ll go??‍??
