Looks more like a mistake on Tuesday night to me.

I have seen this story in the media on previous festival weekends. Headed out of T&K and through Caversham lock up past the site with some trepidation, expecting a strong flow, at least yellow boards and water lapping over the bank below the lock. Looked no different from usual to me.

I am told that the BBC report is basically true. However, the 'adjustments' will be in line with normal variances and there would appear to be no reason for concern.
