A few years back, about 1983, went to Essex Marina on the Crouch to survey a load of damage to yachts that had been used as fenders by a Russian timber vessel berthing at the Baltic Wharf. There in the middle of the damage, and completely untouched, was a substantial motor driven gin palace. The name "DUN THIEVING". I was told it was named to upset the Met Police guys who sailed from there and knew of the owner in a professional capacity but had been unable to interfere with his business interests /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
