Worried from Whitstable.....

Went to the computer shop to day and purchased a router and web cam I asked instructions and was given clear concise instructions which caused me to nod a lot,as if I was taking it all in..indeed I thought I was.......back home I cannot remember fro the life of me what the man said.NOW I was in the uk last week and came across a great boat but its full of electronic whizzmos and I am sure I will be at my wits end remembering the instructions from the previous owner.......Iam obviously "cHALLENGED" by modern electrics.Am I alone with this problem?
