Anyone see the rather large motorboat on the news, the one with apartments instead of cabins, it is heading off with 100 or so tax exiles on board to visit the main events around the globe such as the Grand Prix in Monaco and the World Cup in Japan. Moreover, anyone know someone who has one of these apartments?

I've heard about it. It's called The World and I believe it's currently somewhere in the UK.

If its the one that was on tv last night the annual maintenance charge for one of the better apartments is £250,000! Think we'll pass on this for a year or two....

Interesting site, thanks for sharing that. I now know how our Chairman will be living over the next two years!! He was one of the early purchasers some time ago, good luck to him. It's nice to know my daily efforts are worth something and appreciated)

...but really! Can you imagine anything worse? Trapped with a load of high achievers and worse, their partners. Still I suppose it keeps them out of trouble.

It seemed to me that had I the dosh, I could buy a rather nice 75-85 foot Dutch TSDY a few years old for the cost of a cheaper apartment, and for the service charge maintain her and crew her. Then I could choose my own itinerary, visit all the same places in higher style and take my friends too, (if I had any that is).
