Wooden ships on the water--remember the song?

David Crosby of Crosby Stills Nash and Young fame has owned a lovely wooden schooner for 40 years. He has now decided that "wooden ships on the water very free and easy" is no longer for him and he has his schooner Mayan on the market at a cool 750.000 dollars

Great song and he's a great song writer and performer, Crosby Stills and Nash and Young were one of the foremost bands of their time.

It a beautiful boat but I couldn't imagine trying to run and sail it though.

CSNY were legendary anti war activists back in the hippy days, and then on Neil Youngs invite they got back together a few years ago to tour and campaign against the war in Iraq. Neil young produced a very good documentary film about the concert tour warts and all where the groups anti war message went down like a lead baloon in texas ( George Bush country) and other southern states, - to the extent that death threats bomb threats and every other kind of threat was being made against them
