I have been to the previous events and they were entertaining, it is good to see Woodbridge quays full of boats and people. Kids will enjoy the Normans landing and there is just a good atmosphere about the whole event. Nice to see Whisstocks Yard open again, what a pity it has ceased boatbuilding and is left dormant year on year.

Here is a link to the web site, you need to click on "This Years Event" on the top left.

There is also a Boat Jumble, ON A DIFFERENT DATE, to help raise funds on Sunday 10 October 2010.

I agree

I'd like to endorse the OP's view. Woodbridge does these events really well. The waterfront is quite active most weekends anyway but they pull out all of the stops to entertain on special weeekends like this.

We are hoping to be there with our Yacht Club cruise, weather permitting.

Last year we were there the Regatta weekend and that was great fun.

How true :( We were the sole survivors of the trip to St Kat's :D

True to form ;)
