As much as it pains me to start thinking about Christmas when the summer has only just drawn to a close it takes a bit of planning so....

My starter for 10 :)

Venue: Casa Dei Cesari, Yatelay

Date: Wednesday 8th December 2010

Menu:
Starters
Homemade Minestrone soup (v)
Melon, Mango, Prawns and Cape Gooseberries
Crab & Avocado salad
Wild Mushroom ravioli

Mains
Medallions of Beef Fillet with Bearnaise sauce
Fillet of Salmon with Basil & Pistachio Butter
Turkey with all the trimmings
Risotto Con Legumi - Seasonal Vegetable Risotto

Desserts
Homemade Tiramisu
Fresh fruit salad & cream
Chocolate fudge cake
Christmas Pudding with Brandy sauce

Coffee & Mince Pies

Price is shown as £25.95 +10% service charge, although I'm hoping they'll do a deal given the size of the group

For those who have to travel there are rooms available, I understand their Christmas rates are from £60 for a single and £75 for twin/double, both inc Breakfast.

Actions required:
Reply here with a yes and number of people coming and ideally your/their menu choice
Contact the hotel directly if you want to book a room
Get a deposit to me by 15th November
Drop me a PM if you want:
a) address details to send a cheque or
b) bank details for a bank transfer
Happy to collect cash at the November Wokingham meet.

Of course if nobody likes the date/venue i'll get back in me box and leave it for someone else to arrange :D

I think Mary and I would be up for it.
If its on, we would probably book a room and then we would be ok for drinking.

Lets see how many would be up for it - but you can mark us down for two.

I've just called the Casa Del Cesari to book a room.
I didnt book anything yet because they say if you can firm things up, they will give us a "package" discount.
Sounds good
No problem with rooms at the moment so the date looks good as well.

Hi Mike,

We went to the resturant to work out the package last night, but unfortunately the manager wasn't about. They have my details and I'm expecting a call back this morning so hopefully I will post the confirmed details a bit later today :)

Right, Booking is now confirmed, the menu is as per the first post on this thread and will be £25 per head.

The table is booked for 8pm but I would suggest getting there for 7:30 for a drink before hand.

Rooms are available at their discounted weekend rate of £75 for a twin/double on a B&B basis please call 01252 873275 to book quoting "Boat Club" any issues ask to speak to the manager Ian Dougan or contact me.

I need to confirm numbers by the 15th November, so please let me know if you would like to come and add the following to allow me to keep track:

Finally, please get a £5 deposit per person to me as soon as possible either by:
