I recently noticed that some of the blades of my Rutland 913 generator were wobbling slightly. This is the first and only defect I have noticed in the last 6 years since installation (apart from a rusting tail fin).

Tightening them up was not a bit deal: would you recommend, though, that I systematically go back and screw back on all fastenings using some locktite?
Is it likely to help?

I think I would just check them all, wouldn't use loctite as removing them in the future would be pretty hard. Never had any come loose myself, expect it's down to vibration over a long period.

You can get various grades of Loctite - I don't know what the high street versions are called, but 221 secures threads while being undoable without too much effort; 290 is probably there forever !

My uncle ran his own machine shop and could tell different grades of Loctite by taste; I did mention he's my late uncle didn't I ?
