WNS: What Now Skip (March) -- When lightning strikes

We have been struck - side strike - not the main bolt ... and no we weren't aboard ...

What was affected was the VHF antenna - ended up in the cockpit, the electronics blown and a bulb in the stern light (the front one wasn't affected).
What wasn't affected was all the kit NOT attached to the electrical system - so the tiller pilot wasn't touched ...

I have been out with thunderstorms around - on our way back into the harbour the thunderstorm had circled around us and was over the harbour - so we hung around (got soaked by the rain) until the storm moved on....
