It was a lovely sunny day with all the crew well wrapped up.

I dont understand this "boating season" malarky.

Here you go a short video of NC breaking the ice to get to Torksey on the first run of 2011 earlier this month. It was cold out but sat in the cockpit with the heating on we were warm as toast.

Lovely day, a fair ol' stream running...

We had a lovely day yesterday with a trip to Teddington to lunch, great to be out and about. Had a bit of European style lock keeping as well, with the lockie driving down to Molesey to operate the lock there once we had gone through Sunbury.

In a previous life

Lovely day, a fair ol' stream running...

We had a lovely day yesterday with a trip to Teddington to lunch, great to be out and about. Had a bit of European style lock keeping as well, with the lockie driving down to Molesey to operate the lock there once we had gone through Sunbury.

Many years ago I was delivering a little Fairline and the lockie left Cookham but could not understand how I got to Boulters before him...never did that again..
