The rather simple wiring loom for my KAD42's disappear up a tube at the back of the engines in the corner of the transom and that wiring conduit tube sits between the outer skin and inner mouldings to appear, I presume, just before the helm to operate the various gauges. Now I have looked at all the wires and none match in colour code to those I see at the engine and to be honest it's a mass of wiring that looks like some of the worst examples of server network coms cabinets I have been unfortunate enough to have to work on. Obviously I am presuming incorrectly because I should otherwise be able to trace the end of the loom wires. Without completely dismantling the boat has anybody got any ideas on where else there may be a connector block?
One wire has infinite resistance but the loom has 4 other unused wires that I might otherwise be able to use without running a new wire along a new less desirable route to avoid having to pull the entire loom out of the conduit tubes.
